“Life is a Journey, not a Destination”

An Origami Rose I made

A long time ago, my friend and I saw this saying “Life is a Journey, not a Destination” on a poster, and my friend was like:

“What a load of rubbish. I hate this kind of thing that sounds deep on the surface but is actually totally meaningless.”

But right now, I BEG TO DIFFER.

What made me change my mind was watching a video about life advice on YouTube.

The lady said at the end of that video that “This journey is the destination (I’m parapherasing).”

I have realised that life is not so much about reaching big goals as it is about enjoying and savouring each and every moment of it.

So now, not only every joy but also every pain I experienced seems endearing to me.

We are here to learn what it means to be human and keep growing until the end of our days.

There will never be a definite end to it.
